Ruby, Our Newest Friend
Ruby is a pet therapy dog who comes in with his owner Linda once a month to visit residents and staff.
We have different entertainers who come in to sing, dance and play musical instruments, mostly local folks.
This was a fun craft session for our residents! A resident's daughter came in and instructed a paint class. If was a fun time for our residents and they we're able to use their imagination creating some fun art!
Outdoor Fun
Our residents always enjoy the beautiful weather when they can in our outdoors area.
In August we had a fun carnival here at the home. Since residents can't really enjoy the fair anymore, we tried to bring some of that feeling here. We had a beautiful day for it, and I think they had a great time!
Pumpkin Carving
The residents had some fun carving pumpkins this year!
Apple Farm Visit 2017
Some pictures of our trip to the apple orchard. The residents had a really good time. They asked lots of questions about the orchard and apples.
Class of 1948 MCI Alumni visits Redington
The graduating class of 1948 MCI came in to visit with fellow MCI graduates here at Redington and had lunch with them.
Crafts with Suellen
Once a month Suellen comes in and does a craft with the residents. It's a fun time for them!
LC Bates Museums
The LC Bates Museum came in and did a presentation on birds.
Skowhegan Residents Get a Remastered Look at Life 70 Years Ago
Residents of Redington Memorial Home enjoyed a viewing of the remastered documentary film 'Blizzard to Blossoms' which was shot in 1948-49 in the Skowhegan area.
